The smooth form of the upper is constructed mainly from Dyneemaa super strong yarn which has an abrasion-resistance befitting of life-saving rigging gear. In place of laces, the fit is secured with a FIDLOCK twist system that allows for minute adjustmentensuring a perfect fit.
The technical uppers sit atop an EVA cushioned midsole which is attached to a bespoke Vibram outsole developed exclusively for Vans. This first-ever development gives the Old Skool 36 Trail the traction and durability needed for a shoe built to take a beating.
