Fusing different eras of Converse history, the Star Player 76 is the type of shoe that has us guessing whether it's an archival style or not. According to Con's these are a contemporary design inspired by the company's historical basketball shoes from the mid-to-late-'70s.

The silhouette has plenty of Chuck Taylor in it, with the leather chevron logo which is probably best known from the One Star. The padded collar around the ankle would be almost unworthy of mention on any other shoe but when it comes to Converse it's a massive addition.
