compression molded rubber maintains flexibility in sub zero conditions
Originally released in 1949, the Desert Boot was designed by Nathan Clarkgreat grandchild of Clark's founder James. He was inspired by the military footwear worn by British soldiers in the Sahara Desert which were made in Cairo's Khan el-Khalili bazaar. For the Engineered Garments collaboration Daiki Suzuki chose the Desert Khan, a low-cut variant of the classic desert style named after the Egyptian bazaar where the original boots were made.
This new injection features the addition of a removable kiltie that adds an extra level of detail and heritage design in a way that Engineered Garments has mastered over the years. Featuring a drastically cleated Vibram sole, this design supports traction and support.
