The New Balance 2002R Gore-Tex Castlerock is a modified version of the retro running sneaker with a water-resistant construction. Originally released back in 2010, the 2002R was re-issued by New Balance a decade later to much fanfare. Here, the shoe is updated with a water-resistant Gore-Tex shell that keeps water from penetrating the wearers foot in inclement weather conditions. The upper features a Natural Indigo mesh base with Castlerock-colored leather overlays. A grey N logo can be found on both sides of the shoe. An N-ergy cushioned midsole provides all day comfort.
